A Message from Principal Walter
Patriot Families,
October is shaping up to be a busy and exciting month at Heritage Jr./Sr. High School! As the first quarter ends on October 8, please continue checking Skyward for grades and missing assignments and talking with your student about their progress.
Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held Wednesday, October 7, from 3:30–6:45 PM. This is a great opportunity to connect with teachers, celebrate successes, and discuss areas for growth.
Our Scholastic Book Fair runs October 5–8 and will be open during conferences. Following conferences, we’ll host our Junior vs. Senior Girls Powder Puff Game, and Thursday will feature our Fall Sports Pep Assembly and Junior vs. Senior Boys Volleyball Game. Fall Break follows October 9–12.
Attendance remains a priority, and we are encouraged that our daily rate has improved to approximately 94.5%. Our goal is 95% or higher—being at school, on time, and ready to learn makes a difference. We also appreciate our students and families for their continued support of our cell phone expectations, which have helped reduce distractions and improve focus.
Thank you for your continued partnership as we work together to make Heritage Jr./Sr. High School the number one option in our area.
Go Patriots!
