Today 12/02/2025, East Allen County Schools is under a 2 hour delay. Buses will pick students up 2 hours later than their normal time. School will start 2 hours later than the normal start time. Students will be dismissed at their regular time.

Congratulations to the Heritage FFA

On Monday, November 24th Heritage FFA had teams competing in the Crops Career Development Event and the Forestry Career Development Event.

The Senior team for forestry placed 1st and 8th. The first place team members are Erica Sorg, Addision Werts, Julia Koroncevicius and Shelby Andrews. That team qualified for state competition in December. The 8th place team is Mohammed Esarhaek, Max Sorg and Natalie Sorg. Individual highlights are Erica placed 1st, Addison placed 4th and Julia Placed 6th.

The junior crops teams placed 2nd and 4th. The second place team led by Emmitt Riley – 2nd place individual, Olivia Buuck 7th place and Luke Dillion-15th. The 4th place team led by Reid Scheumann-8th, Cody Hormann-16th and Preston Queen-21st. The second place team qualified to go to state.

The senior crops team placed 4th qualifying for state competition. Maggie Minnich led the team placing 2nd, with Vivian Bowers, Wyatt Fink and Dorothy Riley.

Congratulations to each individual and to the teams. Best wishes for the teams competing at the state competition on December 8th!

Today, a group of Heritage students had the opportunity to attend the Ivy Tech Apprenticeship Fair! Students met with employers, explored hands-on demonstrations, and learned about high demand career pathways in the skilled trades.
